“There is always a strong power that comes from saying I can.”; my father taught me that. As a child, I didn’t grow up having him beside me at all times. Just like most dads, he had to work to help my mom in providing a good life for my brother and I and of course, that would be abroad. As much as I hated the idea of living alone, I had no choice and deep down I knew that I wasn’t the only one who felt that way. Thus, was the first thing I ever knew of my father. He was as hardworking as no one I knew was. Yes, we spend our time rarely but during those times, I never heard any complaints, only pure satisfaction.

I’m proud to say that I’ve also known my dad as a very religious person. Aside from the tons of devotional books and magazines in our house, he also makes it a point to tell us all about God and what He has done for us. He strictly observes his religion as a catholic and reminds us our responsibilities as God’s followers. I can never forget the good old times especially when I was still so young and he reads me stories from the Bible every night. That sort of became my bedtime story as a kid and I was happy that it turned out that way.
The last thing I know of him which makes me real lucky to have him as my dad is the fact that he was always supportive of our decisions. Explaining it simply, he was happy that we can make our own decisions and he supported those. But then there was always that respect and assurance from him making sure that our decisions would be the right ones. My father is one of God’s greatest gifts to me. "It doesn't matter who he was; it matters as who I remembered he was.” Ü
Update: .One Great Gift.

So, Hi. :) This was actually created as a requirement for English class back in Third Year (High School of course.) Oh, about that--please forgive whatever errors you can find in the posts. :> I have no intention of editing them again.I think they remind me more of my previous self (lol. I sound like someone who got reincarnated. Oh well.)
ps. I'm presently living HERE
