 I'm about to start reading Paulo Coelho's "The Witch of Portobello". I can't deny the fact that I somehow feel nostalgic everytime I start reading a new novel of his. :)

The alchemist
-When you know that language, it's easy to believe that someone in the world awaits you, whether it's in the middle of the desert or in some great city… without such love, one's dreams would have no meaning.
-There was a language in the world that everyone understood, a language the boy had used throughout the time that he was trying to improve things at the shop. It was the language of enthusiasm, of things accomplished with love and purpose, and as part of a search for something believed in and desired.
-There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
-Wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.
-The world's greatest lie: At a certain point in our lives we lose control of what's happening to us and our lives become controlled by fate.
The Witch of Portobello
-All we have to do is understand that we’re all here for a reason and to commit ourselves to that. Then we can laugh at our sufferings, large and small, and walk fearlessly, aware that each step has meaning. We can let ourselves be guided by the light emanating from the Vertex.
-I've noticed that loneliness gets stronger when we try to face it down but gets weaker when we simply ignore it.
-What is a teacher?… It isn't someone who teaches something, but someone who inspires the student to give of her best in order to discover what she already knows.
-If all the words were joined together, they wouldn't make sense, or, at the very least, they'd be extremely hard to decipher. The spaces are crucial.
-Faith is not Desire. Faith is Will. Desires are things that need to be satisfied, whereas Will is a force. Will changes the space around us.
The Pilgrimage

attacking or fleeing are part of the struggle;
being paralyzed by fear is not.

So, Hi. :) This was actually created as a requirement for English class back in Third Year (High School of course.) Oh, about that--please forgive whatever errors you can find in the posts. :> I have no intention of editing them again.I think they remind me more of my previous self (lol.
